With a voice that helped define a generation of Contemporary Christian Music, Marty Magehee's career is a testament to the power of song as a conduit for faith. Best known as a founding member of 4Him—the GMA Hall of Fame-inducted, multi-Dove Award-winning group—he helped sell over 7 million albums worlwide, 27 No. 1 radio singles (including three gold-certified projects), earn a Grammy nomination, and win 10 GMA Dove Awards (including Group of the Year multiple times and Song of the Year). Highlights include their contribution to the platinum-selling My Utmost for His Highest compilation (1995), where 4Him's "You Are Holy" opened the project alongside artists like Amy Grant and Sandi Patty. In 2020, 4Him was inducted into the Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, cementing their legacy in Nashville's rich Christian music history, as celebrated at the Museum of Christian & Gospel Music.

After 4Him's 2006 farewell, Magehee poured his expertise into education and paying it forward to the next generation. These years were marked by a commitment to musical excellence and  mentorship. For the past 15+ years, he has led the acclaimed Recording Arts and Songwriting program at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. There, he mentors teenage artists through hands-on studio production, songwriting, and performance—equipping the next generation with professional skills and songs that release on all streaming platforms. The training ground has allowed him to keep his own writing and producing skill sharp. Magehee delivers honest, lyric-driven music that confronts today's spiritual warfare head-on.
